KidZui Video Contest

Have you heard of KidZui? It’s a child friendly web browser. I must admit that I heard about it , glanced at it, enrolled in it, and then proceeded to forget about it. I just haven’t had the time to really examine it and put it into action. However, now is the time for all of us to get to know it better so we can help our kids enter the Kid Zui video contest! Here’s what they have written about it on their blog site

KidZui has launched an online video contest designed to expand awareness of KidZui among parents and kids. As part of the Challenge, KidZui is asking kids and parents to share their vision of KidZui.?

Create a 30 to 45 second video, in any style (live action or animated,) that introduces KidZui to the millions of parent and kids who have yet to discover KidZui.

  • 1st Prize picked by the panel of judges will win $500 and a KidZui Lifetime membership and their schools/community will receive free paid memberships to KidZui for all computers in the schoo/community!?
  • Runner up will win $250, and 6 months KidZui paid membership.

Objectives:

1. After watching the video, the audience should be intrigued enough by KidZui to visit KidZui.com to learn more.

2. After watching the video, the audience should be entertained enough to forward it to friends.

Tips/Guidelines:

1. Get your kid(s) involved! It?s always fun to get your kids to be creative.

2. Keep the video simple, fun, kid-appropriate, exciting, easy, cool, smart.

Contest Details & Rules*:

1. Video entries must be submitted via YouTube?

2. The video must less than 45 seconds in length.

3. Any kids included in video must have consent of parent/guardian.

4. All submissions become property of KidZui

5. Three winners will be selected.

6. All winners will be featured in upcoming ZuiNews, KidZui Blog, KidZui Facebook and Twitter pages, KidZui.com and last but not least in the KidZui Browser.

7. Entries must be submitted by midnight July 10th, 2009.

How To Submit Your Entry (video):

1. Go to YouTube and upload your video

2. Email us at contact@kidzui.com with the following important information:

  • Name
  • Parents email address
  • Embedded link (From your YouTube page)
  • URL (From your YouTube page)
  • The title of your video
