I?m feeling wishful today. How about you? In times such as these that are filled with economic stress it is easy to lose site of wishes and dreams because they feel frivolous or completely unattainable. But I feel it is times like these that scream out for wishes. My mother always taught me that a wish can?t come true if you don?t open up your heart and share your wish with the universe. So that?s what I am going to do today, open myself up to the universe. I want to invite you all to join me too. I will start with mine and then you can chime in with yours and we?ll see what we can conjure up in the World. First let?s stipulate that we all wish for World Peace, an end to war, violence, poverty, child and domestic abuse, and a recovery of our economy so that everyone can have a job, a home and healthcare. That said, let?s get to more personal wishes. I encourage you to be as detailed as you can because the more we bring our wishes and dreams into focus the better chance we have at finding a way to bring them true.
Miss Lori?s wish… My wish is twofold. First I wish desperately for a new Van with air conditioning and leather seats, so that I no longer have to worry about being able to get to one place or another safely. Second, I wish for corporate sponsors so that I can get in my new van and hit the road to bring my concerts and shows to families all across the country, for free! I love to help families improve their overall health and well being with music to groove to and lyrics to grow on! Tall order I know, but everyday I think of that wish and I work at making it come true through the actions that I take, the conversations that I have and choices that I make.
