It’s that time of year again, time to send our children back to school. Which means a whole host of visits to your pediatrician, dentist and optomotrist. Wouldn’t it be great if you could take care of all of your needs in one place. With my crazy schedule that is exactly what I need. Well, this Sunday August 30th, 2009 I can do just that at Resurrection Health Care’s Neighborhood Health Festival
Co-sponsored by 44th Ward Alderman Tom Tunney and 43rd Ward Alderman Vi Daley, the event will take place, rain or shine, from noon-3 p.m. at the hospital?s Stone Professional Parking Lot (under the tent), 2837 North Sheridan Road, right at Surf and Sheridan. Professional will be on hand to get your child ready for the coming school year, just be sure to bring your child’s current immunization information.
The best thing is this festival isn’t just about your child’s health, but yours as well. They will be performing health screenings for parents so that we too can be in tip tiop shape for the school year ahead.
Highlights include FREE screenings for children and adults, an ?Ask the Doctor? booth, games, refreshments and a chance to win prizes!
