I love using language in my teaching with toddlers and preschoolers. It’s amazing their capacity for learning. For the last few weeks we have been using Spanish words in our songs. Singing about head, shoulders, knees and toes, high fives and of course, COUNTING.

Today I introduced French!
I created my counting song for just this purpose. It’s a perfect vehicle for any number of languages. With the help of Google I can bring a little bit of the World into Playgroup every Monday…and so can you.
