Miss Lori, I have to admit, I had stars in my eyes over Princess Tiana. We took Nita to see the Princess and the Frog, and I’d be lying to you if I said that my Disney cynicism was as strong as it usually is. I loved the movie, I loved the character, and Nita’s joy most certainly trumped any old grumpiness her Mommy might have felt regarding the merchandising machine which is Disney.

I wish you and JC (and Kai and Sky) all the magic that Orlando has to offer. I’ll venture a bet that even that strapping boy of yours will be swept away at least once during your trip!

I’m so happy for you all that you and your family are getting some Disney magic. I was also happy to see Disney add the Princess and the Frog in their line up, so that moments like you described could happen for so many more little girls. My children love her as well.

I’m so glad to hear about the joy your little girl found with the help of Disney.

I too dislike all the ‘money’ that is pumped through Disney, but it has been such a source of joy for our family too. Including my husband.. LOL! It’s the one place he feels like he can just let go of the worries of the world and have fun (besides in church..LOL)

So glad you all will be coming to Orlando. We will be attending too, but we live only an hour away.. though we haven’t been to Disney in over a year so this is exciting!!
