Miss Lori and TJ Maxx want you to save some money and save the children while back to school shopping

This is my last week of Summer. It’s also the first week I have even allowed myself to think about my kids’ going back to school. It chokes me up just writing about it. I am so sad to see my kids transition out of Summer, because I won’t get to see them as much with their busy school year calendars. But I am most upset that back to school means back to school shopping. Something at the top of my HATE list. AHHHHH! I really don’t like it at all. Supplies are hard enough but finding clothes to fit my ever growing kids that will please their fashion sense and satisfy my age appropriate meter…well it’s an uphill battle with today’s trends…not to mention this economy. At least I thought it was until my good friend Audrey McClellan blew into town and set me straight. Audrey, known for her forward fashion sense and for having her finger on the pulse of the fashion economy, hipped me to off price shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

I felt so much better after talking to Audrey and seeing some of the fabulous kid friendly fashions at the #MarshallsTJMaxx event. (Especially since some of them were worn by one of my very own Miss Lori’s CAMPUS kids, Messiah!)

But what got me the most excited was a bag. No, not a new purse for me, but a bag that carries not only purchase for my children, but the hopes and dreams of children in need.

You know I am a big fan of anything that helps children. But on top of that, the @TJMaxx Save the Children bag campaign is a great parenting partner, and we can never have too many of those.

So save some money, save some time, save your sanity and save the children, all at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Not just stores, but partners in the community.
