Miss Lori’s daughter is on her way to being a Craftsman Experience DIY host

Earlier this year I had so much fun stretching my DIY muscles at the Craftsman Experience Blogger event. It was invigorating. Today I returned to this wondrous power tool playground for the Social Suite Social Media Week Live Lab event. But this time I wasn’t traveling alone, I brought my two girls with me. While I was nailing 8 nails into a board in only 13 seconds, and my eldest daughter Kaiann was charming the cameras, (and the entire Creative Activist crew behind them), my youngest was off mastering some new skills.

She couldn’t wait to share her new found talents, but only with the correct precautions. Safety first you know.

Best of all, working with the Craftsman tools made her feel powerful.

What more could an 8 year old, (or her mother who loves her), ask for?
