Do you like to smile? Do you like to laugh? Do you like to play games? Do you like to spend time with your family doing all of the above? Well then I have got the perfect event for you, right here in the perfect city. The Chicago Toy and Game Fair! Yes, it’s that time of year again when we ca gather up our children and enjoy the best and the most inventive toys and games the industry has to offer at the equally fabulous Navy Pier. November 19 and 20th the largest public toy and game fair in the U.S. will lead us all down a path of jubilant fun, right here in Chicago. Ypu can preview, play and purchase the hottest new toys and games. (A good way to get a jump on your holiday gift list.) You can meet the inventors of toys and games on exhibit at the Fair. You can even see new inventors in the making with the Young Inventor Challenge, where kids ages 6-18 will exhibit their original toy or game invention and compete for fantastic prizes. There will be lots to do for the whole family – Live stage entertainment, free tournaments and contests, Star Wars Breakfast, giant-sized interactive toys and games, costumed characters roaming the Fair. Tickets are only $10/adult; $5/children; Free for ages 3 & under.

You know you want to go, so I want to make it easy for you. I have a family pass to give away to one lucky winner, and all you have to do is show some social media love and support for some AWESOME Chicago family friendly companies. Easy Peasy

On Saturday November 5, 2011 I will draw a number at random, using Random.org, and publish the winner on my Blog and my Facebook page by Noon CST. (Sorry, I will be in LA that day, so any earlier and I would have to draw in my sleep!) This giveaway is open to anyone in the World, but you would have to get yourself to Chicago on your own for the weekend of the event. ;)

Let’s gather together and show support for our great city, our fabulous activities, and of course our wonderful children.

SMILE On!

Oh Miss Lori… where were you when my children were small. I had to seek out activities on my own. And yet i still value the service and information that you provide. Thank you and keep up the good work.  My three are teens and have diverse schedules and interests, so much so that I count all of us in our minivan with take-out as a family dinner, demand ipods and cell off and we actually talk. my car smells but such is life.  We used to have family gamenight and do jigsaw puzzles… scrabble was my personal favorite. ?  good times!!!
