I am all about empowerment I love to see people meet and exceed their potential. But we can all benefit from a little help in that pursuit. Huggies® understands that. That’s why they created their Huggies® MomInspired Grant Program. Because let’s face it, mother’s are the “Mother’s of Invention”. I’ll bet you have several ideas a week about how to improve life as you know it, but didn’t put it into action because you lacked the capital to act on it. With a $15,000 award from Huggies® you would have no more excuses not to push forward.
The Huggies® MomInspired™ Grant Program awards inspired moms $15,000 in seed money as well as business resources to further the development of original product ideas and startup businesses. Huggies® does not specifically seek ideas that are diaper or hygiene related.

When my son was 9 months old he started walking. It was like Godzilla takes Chicago. I wanted to take him to a music class but they were all so docile, he would never sit still. But sitting still in a music class didn’t make any sense to me anyway. Kids are kinesthetic learners. So I took things into my own hands. Drawing upon my years of experience as a musical artist I created a program that I called Music -’n Movement TOGETHER. It encouraged physicalization of the imagination amongst young children. I started sharing it with neighborhood families first. Then they encouraged me to spread my wings and formalize the program into a class, and CAMPUS Inc, (now known as Miss Lori’s CAMPUS) was born. But it wasn’t until my dear friend and music producer Ira Antelis invested in me and helped me create my CD of the program that I really took off. That CD won an iParenting award and has been the basis of so many programs since its’ inception.I wouldn’t be on my fifth year of concert tours if it wasn’t for Ira, no doubt.
