If you are on social media or listening to any news program, in the Chicagoland area in particular, you have probably heard about the viral youtube video of a 17 year old boy being savagely beaten and robbed by a gang of teens in the Bridgeport area. It got millions of views before youtube pulled it down…TWICE. I was not one of those millions of views. Social Media Influence on consumers is becoming more and more relevant with consumers and not just hype. Which means more influencers will be working with brands than ever before in 2012. If you haven’t pitched a brand before, chances are you will this year. But before you do that you will need to make sure you know who you are. When I was a little girl I had a lot of hopes and wishes, but my greatest wish, the one that stayed with me through all birthdays, holidays (and Wednesday’s for that matter), was to have a really good friend.
