Shopping. I started learning about shopping very young, tagging along with my mother to the mall. Everything happened at the mall. I remember meeting cast members from the soap opera General Hospital at West Town Mall in Madison, and standing in line to meet Lee Majors, (aka the 6 Million Dollar Man), at Toys r Us at a mall in Milwaukee. Malls were full of adventure, but the actual shopping, well, that wasn’t so magical. [Read more...]
It’s been a week since the largest earthquake ever recorded rocked Japan with a Tsunami chaser. And the reports just seem to get more, and more grim, with the mounting concerns about the unstable nuclear facility. Watching the news reports may make you feel as powerless as the Japanese victims. But you aren’t, not completely. There are a number of ways that you can reach a hand across the water to help the people of Japan. [Read more...]

Oatmeal of the future. What is oatmeal of the future you ask? It’s whatever you want it to be. You get to CrEATe Your Day. The great folks at Quaker Oatmeal want me to think outside the box and get creative with my oatmeal. [Read more...]
