I have written about how to throw an AWESOME social media event, but that was predicated on having ample wifi. But what do you do when you want to hold a social media inspired event at a location that doesn’t have a good signal or any signal at all available? That is a problem some facilities are struggling with. Most businesses, particularly vacation businesses, understand the need to be in the social media webisphere, but some structures haven’t been able to catch up technologically just yet. I thought, and still think, it’s the most important and rewarding role I could ever play. I am proud to be a mother three times over. If you frequent this site you know that I had a difficult time in Elementary school. I had few friends and experienced frequent bullying. Which is why I threw a lot of parties. Seems crazy. Well, track my 11 year old logic. For the week before my party and a few days after people my classmates were nice’ish to me. Hence why I would throw as many parties as my mom would allow me to get away with. Now I wasn’t thinking about it like that when I was 11 years old. I wasn’t fully conscious of why I was doing what I was doing, but that’s not true now.
At age 40 I know the difference, but I am still aware of the phenomenon, no more so than when I look at the site states for my website after a giveaway. [Read more...]
